Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

Broadstone Chiropractic provides quality care for the entire family. I opened Broadstone Chiropractic five years ago in Folsom. Located in the Broadstone Marketplace, we have patients coming to us locally and as far as Davis and the East Bay to meet their health-care goals.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

I have been working since age 14. My first job included organizing events such as softball games, horseback riding, etc. I was able to meet many people, and hearing about their journeys, where they came from and how they gave back inspired me to seek a profession that serves others.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

Over the past eight years, I have volunteered my services as a chiropractor both domestically and internationally. Locally, I have provided services such as scoliosis testing and sports physicals to schools. Annually, we have a “Patient Appreciation Day” where we offer free care to new and existing patients for donations. All donations go to a domestic violence intervention center and our patients really get involved. The energy is exciting and contagious.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

We work together as a family. Respect for others is number one. I only hire genuine people who are empathetic with a caring spirit.

What’s your biggest job perk?

I get to see the lives of my patients improve as they get their health back. I love hearing from their friends and families as they describe the positive changes that have occurred. Our goal is to “Live Well Adjusted!”

If you could be any other profession what would it have been?

I would be a veterinarian...I love animals.
