Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

Capital City Singles is an upscale dating pool and matchmaking service for single professionals. Unfortunately, an owner of a previous service passed away from cancer and I promised her I would carry on her mission. It has led me to create a better process to connect singles that are ready for a long term or marriage relationship. By adding the coaching/educational component into my screening process, it really helps people understand who they are and what they need out of a relationship. I cater to all lifestyles and do not cap my membership at a certain age. Starting age is 25 years for women and 27 years for men.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

We do volunteer events with my singles, and support local non-profit agencies. I feel that many singles are givers and love to help by donating time and effort for the good of humanity.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

Our matchmakers are “Certified” and we focus on quality not quantity. You are not a number to us. We don’t match you just because you checked the same boxes on a profile. We get to know what is in your heart and your soul, to find the perfect match for you.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Seeing two people look into each other’s eyes and know that they were meant to be. I love it! Knowing that I helped connect two souls that have been searching for one another gives me such an incredible feeling. I can’t explain it.

And finally, customer service is…?

Customer service is fulfilling a person’s request beyond expectation. Under promise and over deliver. Being personally involved with a person from start to finish really creates a relationship to where they want to refer you to their friends and family. Creating a friendship beyond just being a customer is very important to me.
