Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you

I provide wedding and special occasion flowers for any budget. I enjoy designing each and every event. In addition, I provide a free consultation and throw-bouquet to every bride. My business found me after floral design classes in high school and later after earning a BS from Chico State in agriculture business. After years of floral work for Safeway, designing flowers for family and friends, and enjoying the work, I decided to start my own business and be my own boss.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I have been involved in the Active 20-30 Club for the past six years and currently am vice president for my local Gold Rush #1034 group. We fundraise all year to take underprivileged children from our local community school shopping. We provide clothes, shoes, backpacks full of necessary supplies, and a haircut. This all helps the children start the school year off right.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

I am the best because I take the necessary time to plan and execute all aspects that a bride expects. I listen to what each bride is looking for, and work within the couple’s budget to design their special day.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my family and friends. My job allows me to work around my family so I don’t miss a thing!

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

I keep a positive attitude and remember everything happens for a reason. Even things you think can break you make you stronger.

What’s your biggest job perk?

The look on each bride’s face when she sees her bouquet for the first time.

And finally, customer service is…?

Always making your customers’ visions come to fruition no matter what it takes.
