Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

We are a one-stop shop for masonry and landscape supplies for the professional, homeowner and do-it-yourselfer. I found it so that I could have a retirement.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

Paperboy. I learned the meaning of hard work.

How are you involved with both the community and your customers?

Volunteer and serve at Green Valley Community Church.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

It’s my family.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Becoming a successful businessperson.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

Jesus.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

God and prayer.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Getting to work with my wife and daughter, and meeting and working with great people from the community.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Amerikan Ichi in Placerville.

What’s your favorite childhood memory?

Getting to motocross race at Hangtown.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

Jesus. I have lots of questions.

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

Any race at Placerville Speedway.

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

Supporting any local business is a good thing.

If you could be any other profession what would it have been?

A professional motocross rider.

Courtesy, professionalism and flexibility.
