530-622-FEED | 530-677-4891 | www.leesfeed.net

Lees’ Feed was founded in 1980 in a lease space currently occupied by the U.S. Postal Service in Shingle Springs. The business has been and continues to be family owned and operated. In 1985 land was purchased at the corner of Mother Lode and Sunset Lane where Lees’ Feed is located today. A second location was recently opened in Lockeford just east of Lodi on Highway 88. Both locations provide supplies for all your pet and ranch needs.

Mike and Sue were 29 years old when they left Tuolumne to open their business and now, 30 years later, their children continue in their footsteps. Cori and Jeff handle the day-to-day operations along with a great management team and staff. Marla Brown has managed the pet division for 20 years and Mitch Zanatta and Jackie Ellsworth have served as general managers for over 10 years.

“I still have customers that remember the day we opened. We were working 12-hour days, seven days a week and sleeping on a cot in the back room. I came from teaching high school agriculture to retail, and the rest is history. Now my grandchildren accompany my son to work. What started as a dream now provides employment for over 40 people in our community.”

If you have any animal, large or small, you will find everything you need along with the know-how that comes with years of experience. The pet department stocks tropical and marine fish, reptiles, small animals and all the supplies to maintain them in good health.

The ranch division includes feed, hay, fencing as well as all the boots, hats and clothing you need to get the job done.
