Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

A little bit of both – Kerri was inspired by children’s boutiques in Texas, a seed was planted, and then she met Karen. The two began brainstorming and a business plan was born!

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

Starlight Starbright’s philanthropic work is an integral part of our business. We support local school fundraisers, the ongoing effort with the Folsom Play for All Playground, Autism Speaks, Twin Lakes Food Bank, and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, just to name a few.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

We are a small business with a superb group of employees. Each of our employees receives extensive training on our product lines and has a genuine interest in each of our customers and their needs.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Our families!

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

Prayer! Starlight Starbright is a business steeped in faith – so when things get tough, we take it to God!

What’s your hidden talent?

KK: loves to bake.
KM: too many to count!
KS: teacher of Pilates and spin classes.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Knowing about the great new clothing styles, shoe styles and design trends six to eight months in advance!

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

We all love to support locally owned businesses and restaurants. We have a long list – Chicago Fire, Q’Bole, Bidwell Street Bistro, Karen’s Bakery, Icing on the Cupcake…and more!

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

We love the local parks and bike trails. Of course, the new theaters at Palladio are great for date nights too.

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

El Dorado Musical Theatre productions.

If you could be any other profession what would it be?

We all love what we are doing…no changes needed!

And finally, customer service is…?

Caring
