Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

We are an elder care home specializing in care for those with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The business found me because of my compassion for the elderly.

What was your first job, and what did you learn from the experience?

My first job was as a dishwasher at Siena Care Center. I learned how precious life is.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

Educating the community and our patients’ families with information on Alzheimer’s and dementia. In addition, we help them to understand the risk factors.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

My staff is the best because they are compassionate, caring, and they treat each patient as they would their own loved ones.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Managing a 27-bed facility, which eventually led to the opening of my own facility.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

Dan Corsel – he gave me the opportunity to discover my hidden talents.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Knowing that I make a difference.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

John’s Incredible Pizza.

What’s your favorite childhood memory?

Swimming in my uncle’s pond back home in Fiji.

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

China House Restaurant in Antelope.
