Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

Jonas Optometry is a very family-friendly practice that has excelled in vision care for over 25 years…and that is exactly why I found it. After graduation, I considered moving to a variety of places and several different practices; this practice and this town is where I felt most at home.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

I sincerely love our staff! They are knowledgeable about our field and are superior at seeking out and accommodating every one of our patient’s needs.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

For starters, getting through eight years of school to become an optometrist.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

I cannot think of a particular person but I have always been motivated and inspired by women whom are able to achieve success in business, while also being committed wives and mothers.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

To my wonderfully supportive and amazing husband!

What’s your hidden talent?

I play a very accurate and life-like air guitar and air saxophone.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Thai Paradise.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

My husband and I love to mountain bike around Folsom Lake and other areas around town. We also love to eat and enjoy many of Folsom’s restaurants.

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

Hmmm…I have always been a big fan of Coffee Republic.

If you could be any other profession what would it have been?

I was always very interested in architecture; however, I decided on a profession in health care because I enjoy the interaction with people and the friendships I form with my patients.

And finally, customer service is…?

I believe customer service is providing the highest quality of care with attentiveness to the customer’s needs. For us, that is offering the best professional services, personal care and optical products. Each one of our patients has value and deserves to be treated like our most important patient.
