Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

We are an orthodontic practice. We specialize in braces and clear aligners that straighten teeth and make beautiful smiles. I started this practice in 1989.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

My first real job was in finance and I found that sitting behind a desk was not for me. I would rather utilize my excellent hand-eye coordination.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

We sponsor sports teams and donate to school fundraisers and functions. We have helped numerous patients achieve their financial goals for various reasons.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

We are a small and very personal office with many years of experience. We are like a close family and work very well together. Patient satisfaction in the chair and at the front desk is our goal.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Attending the University of California and earning a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree; graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland dental school; receiving my Certificate in Orthodontics from the elite Boston University; and choosing Roseville/Granite Bay to start my practice.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Knowing that I made a beautiful smile at the end of treatment. We have had some mothers in tears because they can’t believe how gorgeous their child’s teeth have turned out. I’m most proud when a patient walks out of our office and can’t stop smiling.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Cabo’s.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

We love going to Marin County, where I grew up, and hiking the Marin Headlands and Mt. Tam. We also spend time in the Sierras near Truckee.

Being efficient, friendly and serving our patients in a timely fashion. I like to make every patient look and feel special with their beautiful smiles. Proof is when a patient tells their family and friends to come and see us for treatment.
