Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

We provide sales, service and parts for ATVs, UTVs (utility vehicles) and outdoor power tools. We found it! We purchased Placerville Polaris & Power Tools in 2007, and in September 2009 we purchased Williams Equipment Center.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

We donate to many charitable organizations throughout the year and believe in giving back to the community that supports us. We provide a place where our customers can find and buy new ATVs or power tools and feel like part of the family. Many of us have become good friends and get together to ride our ATV/UTVs.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

Continuing education is extremely important to us. Our technicians are constantly updating their knowledge with classes, in addition to taking online training sessions with our manufacturers. Our sales team strives to listen to the customer and find the best solutions for them.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

I jump on my Polaris RZR and hit the trails. It’s surprising how a couple of hours can give you a whole new perspective on things.

What’s your biggest job perk?

I grew up racing motorcycles and Jeeps, and I even had a NASCAR race team for a couple of years. So being able to come to work in the morning and be surrounded by awesome off-road vehicles and all the power tools one could ever imagine is pretty cool.

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

The Fourth of July festival in Cameron Park is a fun day with an exceptional fireworks display; and it’s great for the entire family.

And finally, customer service is…?

A privilege. When people take the time out of their busy schedule to come into one of our stores, I feel we should do everything possible to help them with the challenge they have presented to us.
