Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

In my business I improve people’s smiles and their self-esteem. It is a great way to change young kids’ and adults’ lives and greatly improve the way they feel about themselves. It is not just straightening teeth, but also a broadening of their smile to the corners of their mouth and enhancing their facial profile.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

My staff loves their jobs and love what they do. They enjoy helping patients throughout the process of getting their teeth straightened.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

I have traveled the world to approximately a dozen countries doing dental and church mission work and will continue to do this one to two times a year. Recently, I traveled to Belize and Bangladesh. I find it very rewarding to help the very poor people in these third-world countries.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

My uncle Lonnie who was also an orthodontist, and my dad and four other uncles who are dental technicians.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

I pray to God in heaven.

What’s your hidden talent?

I get along well with kids.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Seeing the end result of my work and the smiles on my patients’ faces.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Fresh Tex Mexican.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

Skiing at Tahoe and water skiing at the local lakes; motorcycle riding and road bike riding.

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

Sierra-at-Tahoe, snow skiing through the ice-cold pond.

And finally, customer service is…?

Giving the customer what they want and making them happy.
