One of the best places to shop in Roseville is fast becoming the go-to spot for great eats. Noodles & Company,

a fast-casual dining establishment offers endless combinations of noodle dishes that include Asian, Mediterranean, and American foods. After a recent shopping excursion, my husband and I ventured into Noodles to see what a place called “Noodles” could possibly offer, aside from its obvious starched namesake. I was pleasantly surprised by the menu that included soups, salads and seemingly infinite noodle dish combinations. Their vast menu can be overwhelming to newcomers, but the staff happily explained the menu and suggested that we create a “Trio,” which includes any small noodles dish, soup or salad; the addition of chicken, beef, shrimp, or tofu, and a side item of a salad or soup.

My husband zeroed in on the Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, and added a Parmesan-Crusted Chicken Breast, and I chose the Whole Grain Tuscan Linguine with Chicken Breast. To accompany my chicken and noodle dish, I opted for the Tomato Basil Bisque, while my husband chose a Caesar Salad. The inviting patio begged us to utilize it, so we sat, and within minutes our dishes were delivered to our table. My husband delighted in that he can now have delicious macaroni and cheese within minutes! I absolutely loved my meal. The broccoli, mushrooms, red pepper and onion were fresh, and the light creamy garlic sauce balanced all of the flavors. The portions are perfect; not so much that you overeat and are sent into a food coma, but definitely enough to satisfy. We finished off our meal without room for dessert, but ordered two huge soft-baked Snickerdoodle cookies to take home with us.

Noodles offers top-notch service and delicious and affordable fare. With several items at less than 400 calories, this fast-casual food won’t make you feel guilty. Noodles also offers delicious (and huge) after-dinner treats like chocolate chip cookies and Rice Krispies treats.
