Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

We are a natural skincare clinic using only clay and water – no machines, chemicals or peels. It found me while I was visiting Folsom in 1990, after meeting a Native American woman.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I am involved with the Rotary Club of Historic Folsom, Mercy Hospital, The Wind Girls, and the Folsom Chamber of Commerce. Through these groups there are numerous fundraisers which I both support and offer my time and services to. I also support fundraisers for clients with special needs.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

The staff puts our clients first. They try to accommodate any special requests or needs.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

First would be my three sons who work with the public and help to make people happy with their professional services. Next would be my business, which I work at daily helping people overcome their skin disorders.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

My husband, Leo, has always been so organized in how he deals with life, by always being positive and looking for ways to help other people in their lives, which in turn enriches our lives.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

I go running (for miles) to rid myself of stress.

What’s your biggest job perk?

When a new client comes in, it doesn’t take long for a friendship and appreciation for them to begin. Many of my clients’ lives are intertwined with mine.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Chicago Fire.

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

Folsom Rodeo.

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

Folsom Lake Bank – a great group of people.

If you could do any other job, what would it be?

A professional ballroom dancer.

Always having a smile and a kind word for the client during their visit with us.
