Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

TruFitness is a full-service health and fitness facility, built upon the belief in high-quality customer service and connecting with our members. TruFitness has a full weight room and cardio equipment floor, 75 group fitness and yoga/pilates classes weekly (included in membership), childcare, juice and coffee café, pro shop, steam room, showers and towel service. There is also a salon, massage therapist, esthetician and personal trainers to fulfill all your health and beauty needs.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

TruFitness is a member of the Roseville Chamber of Commerce and participates in charity events such as the Walk ‘n’ Rock 5K to raise money for children’s charities.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

They all believe in what TruFitness stands for. We all want to see our members healthy and feeling well. We want our members to use our facility and achieve results for each of their goals.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my two children, Kamryn, 4 years old, and Kiley, 2 years old. They have been my greatest adventure. Also, I am proud of all of the lives that we have positively impacted through our business.

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

I hit the mat! I have been practicing yoga for over eight years, and it allows me the time to empty my thoughts and focus on the importance of just “being.”

What’s your hidden talent?

I am a dancer. I was going to audition for So You Think You Can Dance this year, but decided that my heart and passion is at TruFitness.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

I love to eat at Lucille’s in Rocklin, because I cannot get enough of those honey buttered biscuits. BJ’s in Roseville is also one of my favorites…because of the yummy Pizzokie.

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?

My grandfather. He died before I was born, but I hear that he was quite a character.

What’s your favorite local event that you go to?

The Strawberry Festival in Roseville!

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

I love Lollicup in Roseville.

And finally, customer service is…?

Customer service is connecting with people and building life-long relationships. It is always putting the customer’s needs first, and making them feel welcome, appreciated and valued.
