The Vine - Selections from Local Connoisseurs

Beat the Heat with this refreshing wine! Moscato d’Asti is an Italian sparkling wine that has a floral aroma and a sweet taste with hints of honey, apricot and peach.

This wine is one of the six best Moscato in Italy, with minimum alcohol content of 4.5 percent. The Oddero winery is located in Santa Maria, a hamlet of La Morra, at Borgata Tetti 28. One part is used for winemaking, while the other historic section, dating back to the end of the 18th century, is used for maturing and ageing the wines.

You find our customers at Wine Konnection sipping on this intensely distinctive, fragrant wine on the patio during the evening hours with a dessert or just by itself. I put this as another Sacramento region summer patio “Must-Have Wine.”
