Dkcellars is one of my favorite foothill wineries. Dave and Kim Pratt really love what they do and they really put their best into every bottle.

The red wines from dkcellars are not produced to be consumed right away and can be cellared for a while, which is not a problem since most wines are aged by Dave and released years later. So to find a table wine with a vintage of 2005 is quite a treat.

The dkcellars Rattler Red is a fun, youthful wine that can be enjoyed now, but according to dkcellars, it can be laid down through 2020! This wine is a blend of 6 varietals including Merlot, Zinfandel, both Cabernets, Syrah and Petite Sirah. It is a full-bodied wine with a burst of fruit flavors, yet it is balanced and velvety smooth, making it perfect for Summer BBQs!

There is one more unique facet of this wine, but you will have to read the bottle to discover what that is! You can find this wine at your local supermarket or at the beautiful winery in Fair Play.
