Introducing...Family Physical Therapy

Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

After graduating with a degree in Corporate Fitness, Brett worked locally as a PT aide, quickly learning that physical therapy was a perfect career for him. Deb managed clinics for a large out-patient PT company, and upon graduating from the Mayo School of Health Related Sciences, Brett worked for one of the clinics that Deb managed. After working together, they decided that they could provide a better environment and have a patient-focused clinic on their own.

What was your vision when you first started your business and what is it now?

It remains the same, to provide the patient with the best in physical therapy and certified hand rehabilitation; and to have good open communication with referring doctors.

What is the best part of doing business in this community? 

Being close to home, family and friends, and being a part of a community that we lived and worked in for a significant amount of time.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

DM: I have been a past president of Executive Women’s Association in Sacramento, and am a current member of Roseville, Rocklin and Placer Fine Arts Association. 
BP: I have worked in area youth sports and served as a past youth leader at church.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

We have a great blend of individuals, each with different skills and personalities, which work well together as a phenomenal team. We all strive for our common goal, to be like a family and provide the best possible support and care for our patients and providers.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of? 

BP: I have a terrific wife, Lori and two awesome children, Nathan, 14, and Nicolette, 12. We spend our free time enjoying family activities and following our children’s sporting activities.
DM: I have a wonderful daughter, son-in-law, and two wonderful grandchildren. And my friends who are like family to me.

And finally, customer service is…?

Knowing what your customer needs and being proactive to make sure they don’t need to ask you for it! Going that extra mile to satisfy all your customers’ needs.
