What was your vision when you first started your business, and what is it now?

Our vision was always to build a venue for holistic healing that incorporated much more forward thinking, and that honored both science and spirit. We wanted a beautiful place where people could go and feel that they were in a different land and time. It was vital that the focus was on a higher vision in a space of tranquility, harmony and balance. We put the design elements in that helped stage our environment and we consistently provide an unsurpassable spa experience. Our goal is  to prove the healing power of human touch, and that we are passionate about it as a way of life. We will become the premier teaching facility for our industry.

What is the best part of doing business in this community?

Providing the most beneficial healing for the mind, the soul and the body, both in an emotional and physical manner. We empower our clients with knowledge that they can apply to their everyday lives, and nurture them with gifts unlike any other. We are very grateful for our clients and we give back to our community through donations, in kind goods as well as sponsorships; we offer continued education to our therapists, estheticians and employees. Our gratitude is shown in total of approximately 25-40 thousand dollars annually.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

We are very involved with our community in many facets. We sponsor area schools and sports teams, we donate packages to community events for a multitude of causes. Serenity Spa will always be on the list of businesses that give.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

Our staff is unsurpassable because we teach and train, and only retain the right staff. We don't hire, we cast for roles. We breed a culture that lives by our philosophy: We endeavor to do whatever we do at 110 percent. We focus on the intangibles, things that can only be sensed, not touched. We capture our clients authentically and emotionally with our passion and our relentless standards to exceed their expectations. We will continuously add value to our menu of business.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Raising my daughter and knowing who she is at her core; realizing that she lives by her beliefs and is spiritually aware of herself. She offers more than most to life itself. And everything I am, I owe to my mother.

And finally, customer service is…?

Never saying no! Moving mountains to accommodate each one as an individual and no matter what, making sure that they receive unexpected excellence! We always offer an educational experience – something clients can utilize daily that will give them a better way of life
