Roseville Transit is getting a face lift. Through the summer months new clean diesel buses will appear with an updated design. Only funds designated for transit capital purchases were used and no City of Roseville General Fund money was used for the new fleet improvements. Congratulations to Mark Davis for receiving the Joyce Raley Teel Award at the Kids-First Luncheon. Davis is a general contractor and president of Sierra View General Contractors in Granite Bay. On April 5, the 2009 Niello Volkswagen Ranch Run qualified for the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest VW caravan. Approximately 470 Volkswagen’s formed a line almost 5 miles long. The run also helped raise over $22,000 for the Ride to Walk Foundation.
