The Cameron Oaks Shopping Center is turning 30 and to celebrate they are throwing a Community Family Event on June 13, from noon to 4 p.m. Enjoy booths, live music, raffles, a car show and more. The event will also feature a fundraiser in memoriam of the center’s owner Les Anderson, Sr., Cue Balls for Care and will benefit Partners in Care.

The American River Conservancy will host a Nature Camp for children ages 4-5 from June 15-19, and for children 6-8 from June 22-26 at the American River Nature Center. For more information, call 530-621-1224 or email [email protected].

The Pony Express Re-Ride is coming to El Dorado County. Starting in St. Joseph, Missouri on June 9, and ending in Old Sacramento on June 19, this 10-day ride will feature over 500 riders and horses. To track when the Pony Express will be coming through El Dorado County, visit xphomestation.com.

Calling all volunteers! Join the American River Conservancy, the Bureau of Land Management, and REI as they celebrate National Trails Day on June 6, with a variety of trail work projects at Magnolia Ranch.
