November is finally here! Now’s the time to get your pet equipped with a microchip to help maximize the chance of being reunited should you be separated. Friends of Placer County Animal Shelter sponsors a microchip clinic at Diamond in the Ruff Pet Spa in Lincoln, the first Saturday of every month. The first Sunday of every month, it’s held at The Cat House in Auburn. Both clinics are open from noon to 3 p.m. The implant service is $25 and includes lifetime registration. Sutter Roseville opened the first Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of its kind in the Sacramento region on September 2.
