Then & Now

CDs
THEN:
Interview With The Vampire
(soundtrack), Elliot Goldenthal
On Halloween, put this soundtrack on and just try and stop yourself from dressing head to toe in velvet. Theatrical, but far from corny, Goldenthal’s score is richly evocative and may well summon Lestat himself to your home. As a bonus you get Guns N’ Roses’ excellent cover of "Sympathy For The Devil"...just in case you wanna rock.

NOW:
Nightmare Revisited, Danny Elfman
Now THIS is Halloween. Some of Jack Skellington’s hardcore rocker friends have contributed a collection of covers and new recordings inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas. Rockin’ new residents of Halloweentown include Marilyn Manson, Korn, Rise Against, and The Plain White T’s. And we’re not a bit surprised.
