Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?
Healing Therapies is a holistic health practice specializing in behavioral therapy and clinical hypnotherapy. At an early age, I realized that not enough was being done to prevent illness, so I have been educating others and myself for more than 30 years.
What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?
My first real job was in a health food store. This was the foundation on which all has followed since. I was fortunate to work at a place where I received a wonderful education and was exposed to a wide array of modalities, cultural eating styles and so much more.
What life accomplishments are you most proud of?
Having a wonderful, supportive and loving family.
Where do you go when the going gets tough?
I find great healing, solace, empowerment and inspiration by hiking far into the backcountry of the mountains.
What’s your biggest job perk?
Meeting inspiring people who want to make changes in their lives, who are committed to their health and well-being, and who are open and receptive. These qualities keep us young!
If you could be any other profession, what would it be?
There is no other. I love my profession; I am very fortunate.
