American River Canyon Overlook Park, Auburn
Attendees laced up their sneakers and ran in either an 8K, “heavy half,” 35K, or 50K at this annual event. The varied route took participants along the historic Western States trail to No Hands Bridge and up the challenging K2 training hill; 50K runners extended the adventure by crossing over Highway 49 to traverse the Wendell T. Robie trail and then explored the Auburn State Recreation Area.
