Congrats to this Month’s Nonprofit Beneficiary: Teams And Dreams Foundation

Teams and Dreams Foundation creates opportunities and provides supportive services for foster children, ensuring they can reach their dreams by providing access and funding for extracurricular and enrichment activities.

Per calendar year, the nonprofit provides $500 for foster and adopted children to use toward registration fees, equipment for uniforms, and recurring monthly fees for activities (sports, music, dance, art, tutoring, equine-assisted psychotherapy, summer camps, school trips, church trips, driving lessons, martial arts, etc.).

Dr. Almonte of The Almonte Center and his staff, along with Terry Carroll, publisher of STYLE Magazine, present the check to Chuck Mitchell, founder/CEO, and Alicia Mitchell, treasurer, of Teams and Dreams Foundation. This month's donation was made in honor of STYLE employee, Debra Linn, who passed away last year; her daughter, Rachel Linn Gish and grandsons, Sawyer and Benny, are pictured far right.

By helping these children access extracurricular and enrichment activities, Teams and Dreams lays a foundation for a brighter, more promising future—ensuring no child’s passion goes unrecognized or unsupported. It’s not just about physical or artistic growth, but about healing, self-discovery, and personal development.

“Together, we can make a difference in the lives of foster children and give them the bright future they deserve,” says CEO/Founder Chuck Mitchell.
