Q&A with Local Companies: Brittany Norris at Britt Honey Photography

Folsom, 916-337-7743, britthoney.com@britthoney@britthoneyphoto

Services or products you offer: Portrait photography.

What you enjoy most about your profession: Getting to capture my clients genuinely while documenting important parts of their story.

You started your business, because: Photography has always been my passion. I lost my mom suddenly when I was 16 years old, and it instilled in me the absolute importance of documenting our lives and never taking the seasons we’re in for granted. I find that photography helps me give that gift to others in a beautiful, tangible way.

Customer service is: Essential, especially in order to give clients a superior experience—one where they enjoy themselves and love their photos.

First job: An ice cream scooper at a local Folsom shop that’s no longer in business.

Favorite food: Mexican!

Favorite local restaurant: Pizzeria Classico.

Last big purchase: A new mirrorless camera and lens.

Favorite small business: Sociology Coffee Bar.

When not working, you can be found: Spending time with my five-year-old son or working out.

You love living here, because: It’s where I grew up, and our community is so supportive and fun.
