Fast-casual chain Mendocino Farms (mendocinofarms.com), which serves an assortment of salads and sandwiches—many vegan and vegetarian—is opening a second area location (the first is in Midtown Sacramento’s Ice Blocks) at 1210 Roseville Parkway, Suite 100, in Roseville.

Stop by Lemongrass Café (lemongrass.love)—located at 4860 Black Oak Mine Road, Suite 3, in Garden Valley—for locally sourced, freshly prepared breakfast and lunch fare like house-made buttermilk biscuits and pepper gravy, salads, wraps, and paninis, plus tacos, burritos, and nachos.

Stone + Birch (stoneandbirchboutique.com), a new women’s clothing store located at 929 Sutter Street (inside Sutter Street Salon & Spa and alongside kids’ clothing shop Bubba & Slim), sells everything from tops, bottoms, and dresses, to accessories and jewelry. Locally owned Crepes & Burgers (crepesandburgers.com)—with locations in Fair Oaks and Citrus Heights—is coming to 313 Iron Point Road in Folsom. Popular offerings include crêpes filled with creative ingredients like curried chicken and sun-dried tomato pesto, plus burgers, scrambles, sandwiches, salads, and pastas.

South Korean franchise, Vons Chicken (vonschicken.com)—which serves several flavors of wings (both fried and oven-baked) plus French fries and kimchi fried rice—is opening a location at 703 East Bidwell Street, Suite 703, in Folsom.

Ohio-based franchise Handel's Homemade Ice Cream (handelsicecream.com) has a new location at 1164 Galleria Boulevard, Suite 100, in Roseville. Their hand-packed ice cream is made fresh daily and includes flavors like cinnamon graham cracker, blue monster, orange dream cream, and coffee chocolate chunk. Chocolate-dipped pops, ice cream sandwiches, and vegan flavors are also available.

Local salon chain Maribou (maribouspasalon.com), which has four total locations, is relocating its existing Historic Folsom locale to a larger space at 811 Sutter Street.

Dessert shop Junni is slated to open soon at 711 East Bidwell Street, Suite 10, in Folsom. Customers can look forward to ice cream served in pastry-style cones resembling a fish, as well as Korean shaved ice.

 

Esthetics Center (estheticscenter.com), which has an existing location in El Dorado Hills, is expanding to Rocklin. The 2,000-square-foot facility at 5428 Crossings Drive, Suite 105, will feature medical spa treatments and facials and is scheduled to open in August.
