The Farm Table’s meaty house-made Sausage Sandwich with a Pint of local microbrew

“It’s Happy Hour indeed when you can score The Farm Table’s meaty house-made Sausage Sandwich with a Pint of local microbrew for under $10. The sausage selection and enticing flavor combos change seasonally, but you can always count on their staples of wild boar, turducken or pork bratwurst.”

“The Shrimp Burrito at Freshmex Express Mexican Grill is the size of a newborn baby and stuffed with whatever your appetite desires (cheese, beans, rice, salsa, etc.). It’s lunch and dinner, and worth every penny.”

“Taco Tuesday at Hog Wild Bar-B-Que features the best Brisket Tacos (with mango salsa and spicy barbecue sauce) and Chicken Tacos (with a superb smoky flavor and hints of lime and cilantro) for $2.50 each.”

“Golden Dragon Restaurant’s Lunch Specials are under $8 and their portions are enormous (in addition to your protein of choice, each selection is served with a fried wonton, soup of the day, egg roll and either fried rice, steamed rice or chow mein)! I always get at least two meals whenever I come by for lunch—or should I say lunch, afternoon snack and dinner!” 530-621-1568

“When I’m thinking about a quick, inexpensive meal that packs in the flavor, I think Fish Tacos from Taqueria El Carnaval. Their shrimp and red snapper are both muy bueno and über fresh. If you’re trying to eat healthy, order them without the tortillas. The complimentary chips and salsa bar is an added bonus!”
