It’s always a good time to have pizza—for meals, between meals and despite meals—so when I stopped by Sacramento Pizza Company in Folsom, I was convinced before I even entered that it would become my second home. This trendsetting eatery offers a fixed price 10-inch pizza with your choice of any of the multiple sauces and cheeses, plus unlimited meats and veggies for toppings. From the numerous mind-boggling options, I managed to pick a creamy Parmesan-Alfredo sauce, with ricotta and Mozzarella cheeses, spicy Italian sausage and meatball crumbles, colorful red onions, green bell peppers and black olives, some minced garlic, fresh spinach and basil, and a sprinkling of Italian seasoning including ground black pepper. Once the toppings were put in place, my pizza was cooked and out in just a few minutes. The crust was light and crisp, while the silky cheese was melted precisely into the medley of meat and veggies. Without missing a beat, I took one bite, then another and one more still, until I was searching for crumbs around my plate. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed that pizza, but I can show you, and I will—the next time I see you at Sacramento Pizza Company, 2700 East Bidwell Street, Folsom, Suite 500, Folsom. 916-673-9754
