“The Zuppa di Fagioli from Vaiano Trattoria is a rustic white bean soup with salty pancetta that’s homey, hearty and made with lots of love. It’s the perfect beginning to a scratch-made Italian feast.”

“If you’ve never tried the Tom Kha Gai from Ruen Thai, you’re missing out. This authentic Thai soup is chock-full of flavor thanks to coconut milk, tangy lime, lemongrass, ginger, chicken, mushrooms and green onions. It’s a deliciously satisfying meal for one!”

“One of my favorite soups is a combination that I get at Fins Market & Grill: half Boston Clam Chowder and half Manhattan Clam Chowder. The mixture results in a texturally delightful, flavor-filled meal. Just don’t forget to add the oyster crackers!”

“I love the Hot and Sour Soup at Asian Blossom. It’s a perfect bowl of cold-weather comfort food. Tofu, mushrooms, meats and spices are stewed together in a broth that’s nice and spicy without being too hot.” 916-787-1223

Boxing Donkey’s Bacon Clam Chowder, which is only served on Fridays, is so good you’ll high five your soup spoon.”
