Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

We buy and sell coins, jewelry, diamonds and high-end watches. We have a five-star rating with both Google and Yelp. It’s a family-owned and operated business; we’ve been in Sacramento for seven years with two locations.

What was the first job you ever had, and what did you learn from the experience?

I was a busboy at a nice restaurant and learned how to work with people.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I work hard to help educate my customers—everything we buy and sell is real wealth and hard assets, so working with their finances is very important.

Who is your role model in business or in life, and why?

Bob Hallam from Avenue Coins—he took me under his wing and taught me how to make better buys, what to look out for, and how to be fair to your customers to get repeat business.

What’s your hidden talent?

I’m good at woodworking and very creative.
