As summer comes to a close, Rocklin Parks and Recreation is gearing up for fall. Youth sports are often the theme of September, and Flag Football is always a favorite among local children. The season starts September 26 and ends November 14. Boys and girls in grades pre-K-12 are invited to compete in a non-contact, co-ed, five-on-five league; all participants receive an official Rocklin Flag Football reversible jersey.

Itty Bitty Club starts new classes on September 8, and includes Pre-Preschool—a parent-participation class (ages 18 months to three years old) where you get to play, learn and grow together in a fun, interactive environment. Teacher Alycia Tonna provides toddlers with educational activities that will prepare them for preschool.

Food Truck Mania comes to Rocklin the fourth Thursday of the month through October, from 5-8:30 p.m. at Johnson-Springview Park. Join Rocklin Parks and Recreation and SactoMofo as they bring out their best gourmet trucks, offering food selections that will satisfy any craving. As you dine in this beautiful park setting, enjoy activities, entertainment and more!
