Greeted by a fresh, bright atmosphere and exuding the charm of Folsom’s Historic Sutter Street, Pure Life Juice Company is a one-stop shop for all of your natural cold-pressed juice needs. Taunted by the bright colors of the freshly made juices in the front display, I opted to order the Original Acai Bowl to fulfill my afternoon cravings. A large cup of perfectly cooled and blended exotic acai, banana, blueberries, coconut sugar and house-made almond milk—mixed with fresh granola and topped with additional fresh fruit and snow-like coconut shavings—instantly reminded me of my previous trials at pure, healthy eating. Looks usually deceive; however, this extravagant creation tasted as sweet as it appeared. The acai berry—an antioxidant powerhouse that is also high in omegas—not only helped curb my appetite for the rest of the day, but brought along a sudden boost of energy too. The combination of fresh ingredients was heavenly, to say the least, and left me wanting to make a visit to Pure Life part of my daily routine.
