Holocaust Survivor Speaking in Folsom August 2

Jul 29, 2015 09:12AM ● By Style

As a Jew from Salonika, Greece, Albert went through concentration camps and death marches before putting on an American uniform, becoming the only non-American to receive a Purple Heart for his bravery.

After fighting with the Irgun in (then) Palestine, Albert came full circle when he was imprisoned by the British in native Greek-speaking Cyprus.

Listen to a first hand account of a dark period of recent history and be inspired by a story of resilience and the ability to overcome the greatest difficulties.

This is a must hear first-hand account and a great opportunity--especially for teenagers!
