Looking for fun things to do with your family this summer? Folsom Parks and Recreation has you covered!

July 10, 17, 24 & 31
Summer Concerts in the Park

Pack a picnic and head to Folsom City Lions Park at 6:30 p.m. for free open-air concerts. Note: There is no concert on July 3.

July 15 & August 19
Food Truck Safari

A fleet of SactoMoFo food trucks featuring diverse and delectable menus roll into Folsom City Lions Park from 5-8 p.m. Live music, bounce houses and other entertainment are also on tap.

July 23 & August 27
Story Time at the Zoo

Little ones will enjoy learning about animals through stories featuring zoo puppets—and meet a live zoo animal. Story time is held at 10:30 a.m. on the zoo’s outdoor canid deck. Free with regular zoo admission.

Through August 7
Little Dippers

The Folsom Aquatic Center hosts this program (open to parents and children ages 6 and under) every Friday from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the Activity Pool. Admission is $5 per person.

August 1
Folsom’s Wacky Dash

End your summer on a wild and crazy note with the Wacky Dash, a family-friendly two-mile obstacle course at Rodeo Park. The course includes giant inflatable obstacles like the Kid Dip, Slip ‘n’ Slide, Adrenaline Rush, Noah’s Ark and more. Don’t miss mud pits, tire runs, tunnels, a hay maze, climbing walls, two foam stations and some surprises.

Through September 7
Giant Inflatable Obstacle Courses

Kids and kids at heart will enjoy testing their skills on giant floating obstacle courses Kiwi and The Beast and Montee. The courses are available every day from 1-6 p.m. Purchase a one-day inflatables access wristband for $3 or a convenient 10-day inflatables pass for $30 (daily Aquatic Center admission extra)
