Summer Fest Makes Its Debut at Cielo Estate This Month

Hands4Hope Family Fun Summer Fest organizers are excited to announce the band lineup for this first annual event coming up on June 28, from 12-6 p.m. at Cielo Estate Winery, 3040 Ponderosa Road, Shingle Springs.
Rhythm Vandals, Rogue, Rock Monsterz, and Moon Mantis will headline the day’s musical entertainment.
The Summer Fest is a family friendly and will feature local musicians, food trucks, and numerous games and activities. The Sacramento Kings Dancers will also make an appearance!
Proceeds from the event will benefit Hands4Hope – Youth Making A Difference, a youth driven community engagement and leadership development organization.
Food trucks North Border Taco, Cali Love Truck and Maui Wowi will offer culinary delights that will tempt and tantalize, while Hop House and Placerville Brewing Company will showcase a few of their specialty brews. Wine lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful ambiance of Ceilo Estate as they taste the winery’s artful array of wines originating from various countries. Camino-based Barsotti Juice will provide beverages for the event also.
Young people are as much the focus of this event as the adults. With activities being run by a
coalition of youth organizations, the beautiful grounds of Cielo will be transformed into an old
fashioned carnival with games, a hay maze, obstacle course, carriage rides, and treats of cotton candy, popcorn, and snow cones.
Admission to the Summer Fest is FREE, with activities, food, and beverages running from
$1-$10. Wristbands for unlimited games and activities will be available for purchase.
Parking at Cielo Estate is $5 a car, with overflow parking and a shuttle at Ponderosa High School just down the road.
VIP Tickets are available for sale now at the California Welcome Center in El Dorado Hills Town Center, at the Hands4Hope Youth Center, 877 Embarcadero Drive Ste. 3 (open 11 a.m. to 3p.m. weekdays), and online at hands4hopeyouth.org .
