Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

My business evolved through my love of the barre workout. It found me due to injuries—which caused me to change my workout routine—and the need to find an exercise method that was gentle on my body.

Why is your staff the best in the business?

Each member of my staff is so passionate about the fitness industry, and they’ve all been meticulously trained in the fundamentals of the barre workout. Our instructors are friendly, personable, and love what they do...and it shows!

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of putting myself through college and graduate school, and earning a master’s degree in education. I’m also proud of my 16-year marriage and my two wonderful daughters. Finally, I’m proud to have built a successful small business in such a great community.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Aji Japanese Bistro—their Tsukiji Maki Roll is the best.

Where do you and your family go locally to have fun?

We’re definitely summer people, so you can usually find us on Folsom Lake tubing or wakeboarding. We love the sun!

If you could be in any other profession, what would it be?

I would probably go back into teaching. I love working with children and find teaching to be such a rewarding profession.

What is your opinion of Style Magazine?

Style Magazine is a great resource for finding out what’s going on in our local community. I love it, and never miss a publication!

And finally, customer service is…?

Listening to your clientele, never becoming complacent with the service you’re providing, and constantly striving to create a fun and friendly environment where people feel comfortable and welcome.
