May 06, 2015 09:16AM ● By Steven Jack
The El Dorado County Office of Education (EDCOE) Child Development Programs are now accepting applications for the 2015-16 school year. These programs provide an enriching preschool experience for children ages 3 to 5 years.

Both full-cost and income-eligible subsidized families may apply for children turning
three or four years old on or before September 1, 2015.

State Preschool and Head Start offer high-quality early educational experiences. Additional family support services are offered.

“EDCOE recognizes the critical importance of providing a continuum of services from birth through adulthood, as demonstrated by our successive years of expansion, a history of advocacy at State and Federal levels, and extensive district and community partnerships,” El Dorado County Superintendent of Schools Jeremy M. Meyers said.
