Wine Down Wednesdays On Vernon Street Through May 27

Come down to Vernon Street Town Square each Wednesday from now until May 27, 5:30-7:30 p.m., to sample local wine, enjoy some food, listen to music, and wine down with family and friends.

In partnership with Roseville Chamber of Commerce and local vintners, come taste a variety of wines each week from different varietals including the highly floral Viognier to dark-berried Tempranillo and lush Barbera.

Other award winning wines include smoky and spiced Syrahs, Petite Sirah and adventurous blends. Cabernet Franc and flavor-intense Zinfandel and dessert wine offerings provide plentiful options for every taste and occasion.
 
This year live music is thrown into the mix!  Hungry? Enjoy handmade artisan gourmet pizza from a wood-fired pizza oven from Familia Wood Fired Pizza.

Come down and take in the Town Square, listen to great tunes, taste local wines and be sure to bring your friends. $5 entrance fee good for 5, 1/2 oz. tasting ticketsBring this year's seasonal souvenir glass back to each event for an additional 1/2 oz. tasting. 5 oz. pour of wine also available for $5. 

At Wine Down Wednesdays, participants can show their creative side by painting a beautiful piece of art and enjoying some wine. Join Sparrow 5, as instructor M. Taylor, teaches participants how to make a masterpiece in one evening. Participants may pre-register by calling 916-772-7769 or by drop-in at the event. $15 class fee paid to Sparrow 5. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the SPCA.
