An El Dorado Hills man is being held on $1 million bail after a shooting early Sunday morning on Sutter Street in Folsom.

Frank Vincent Sierras, 24, has been charged with attempted murder after the shooting that occurred at about 12:45 a.m. outside a business in the 600 block of Sutter Street, according to Folsom Police. The victim, a 30-year-old Folsom man, was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, police said.

Police said the shooting occurred after an argument outside the business. When police arrived to the scene the area was searched by police dogs and helicopter, but Sierras had fled the area, police said.

After collecting witness statements and serving search warrants in El Dorado County, Sierras was arrested Sunday afternoon, police said.

Police are still searching for other people possibly related to the shooting, and are asking anyone with additional information to call Detective Verhalen at [email protected] or 916-355-7309.
