The Folsom Police Department, in partnership with the Sutter Middle School Leadership, will present Digital Safety Night from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 25.  

This event will feature separate presentations for students and parents.  The student presentation by Youth Services Detective Chad Friedrich will teach students ways to make good decisions online, and explain dangers they may face when using technology.  

Folsom Police Sgt. Andrew Bates will give similar information to parents, geared toward understanding this emerging world, the risk and opportunities presented, and monitoring techniques to help parents stay informed.

The presentation will take place in the overflow cafeteria at Sutter Middle School, 715 Riley Street, in Folsom.
