Man Arrested in Roseville Stabbing

The Placer County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in connection with the Friday night stabbing death of a Carmichael man in Roseville.
Zachary Nicholas Gonzalez, 22, of Sacramento, was identified through interviews and leads, the sheriff's office said. He was tracked down to his home where he was arrested without incident Sunday night.
Gonzalez was booked into the Placer County Jail, charged with murder, and is being held without bail. He is due in court for an arraignment Tuesday in Auburn.
Gonzalez allegedly stabbed to death Andrew Michael Petrenko, 21, late Friday night after a verbal altercation on Lanie Court in west Roseville.
