Harris Center Presents Nice Work If You Can Get It March 6-8

Get ready for this 1920s-era feel-good musical, complete with extravagant dance numbers, glittering costumes and an unlikely love story between a wealthy playboy and a rough and tumble lady bootlegger coming to Harris Center for the Arts. The champagne flows and the gin fizzes in this hilarious, Tony®-winning musical comedy!

Nice Work If You Can Get It, which played over 500 performances during its 2012-2013 Broadway run, is filled to the brim with classic Gershwin songs, including “But Not For Me,” “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off,” “I’ve Got a Crush on You” and “Someone to Watch Over Me.”

It harkens back to the golden age of American musical comedy. This sparkling, madcap tale combines laughter, romance and high-stepping Broadway magic for an evening bursting with girls, glamour and the glorious songs of Gershwin.

Nice Work If You Can Get It: The National Tour will be performed on Friday, March 6, at 2 & 7:30 p.m, Saturday, March 7, at 2 & 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 8, at 2 p.m. Tickets are priced at $45-$65; Premium $79; 10% discount on Friday matinee single tickets.

Tickets are available online at harriscenter.net or from the Harris Center Ticket Office at 916-608-6888 from 10 am to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and two hours before show time. Parking is included in the price of the ticket. Harris Center is located on the west side of Folsom Lake College campus in Folsom, facing East Bidwell Street.
