School break-in

El Dorado County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a break-in at Jackson Elementary School in El Dorado Hills that occurred sometime before 12:37 p.m. Feb. 17. Several items were missing from an extended day classroom at the school, the sheriff’s office said.

Damage to property

Glen Ballou, 40, of Folsom, was arrested at about 11 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 100 block of McKiernan Drive for property damage, disobeying a court order and a probation violation, according to a Folsom Police report.

DUI

David McMorran, 36, of Folsom, was arrested for DUI at about 5:30 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 9400 block of Madison Avenue, according to a Folsom Police report. 

Stolen bike

Someone cut a chain lock and stole a bicycle from in front of a building in the 200 block of Blue Ravine Road sometime before 5:10 p.m. Feb. 16, according to a Folsom Police report. 

DUI

Johanna Lanham, 45, of El Dorado Hills was arrested for DUI at about 5:50 p.m. Feb. 15 near Broadstone Parkway and Serpa Way, according to a Folsom Police report. Police were called to the scene for a two-vehicle accident. There were no injuries.

Vandalism

Someone slashed the tires and a broke a window of a car parked in the 1100 block of Sibley Street sometime before 11 a.m. Feb. 15, according to a Folsom Police report.

Vehicle break-in

Someone smashed the window of a vehicle and stole a purse from inside sometime before 10:45 am. Feb. 15 in the 700 block of Hancock Drive, according to a Folsom Police report. 

Smash and grabs

Two Folsom businesses were the victim of smash and grab burglaries sometime overnight Feb. 15, according to a Folsom Police report. The first business targeted was in the 300 block of East Bidwell Street. A window was smashed, and the entire cash register was stolen. In the second burglary in the 100 block of Blue Ravine Road a window was smashed and a cash box was stolen. 

DUI

Patricia Whalen, 37, of Sacramento, was arrested for DUI at about 2:10 a.m. Feb. 15 in the 100 block of Stroup Lane, according to a Folsom Police report. 

DUI

Scott Soares, 46, of Folsom, was arrested for DUI at about 11:50 p.m. Feb. 14 near Ingersoll Way and Natoma Station Drive, according to a Folsom Police report. 

Bike theft

Someone broke into the garage of a home in the 100 block of Triff Court sometime before 8:50 a.m. Feb. 12 and stole a bicycle, according to a Folsom Police report. 

Vandalism

Someone shattered two cement planters at a home in the 100 block of Duchow Way sometime before 8 a.m. Feb. 12, according to a Folsom Police report. 

DUI

Connor Lalonde, 23, of Cameron Park, was arrested for DUI at about 1:15 p.m. Feb. 12 in the 700 block of East Bidwell Street, according to a Folsom Police report.
