El Dorado County Sheriff's police are searching for this man who is wanted for a January Check Into Cash armed robbery.

The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help in identifying a man they say robbed a Cameron Park business in mid-January.

According to police, the man entered the Check Into Cash store Palmer Drive on Jan. 13 with a semi-automatic handgun demanding an employee fill a grocery bag with money. The man then left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and walked north.

The suspect is described as a white male, with freckles on his cheeks, about 20 years old, 5-feet 8-inches to 5-feet 10-inches tall, with an average build and strawberry blond or reddish colored short hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball style hat, black jacket and dark-colored pants, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the El Dorado Sheriff’s Office at (530) 621-5655 or Detective J. Densmore at (530) 642-4718. Anonymous tips can also be made via the sheriff’s website at www.edso.org
