Make a Child's Holiday-Support Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Dorado County

In
order for every child to succeed in life, they need a positive role
model. Big Brothers and Big Sisters of El Dorado County provides at-risk children with a caring adult who shares their experience, and gives each child the opportunity to thrive.
Each volunteer--BIG's--bring a positive influence into a child's life:
They are friends that strengthen relationships!
They open doors to a bigger world!
They encourage children to dream!
They give them hope!
- There are currently 9,901 children in El Dorado County facing adversity.
- BBBS of El Dorado County serves 203 of these children
- There are 27 more on their wait list
- It costs $1,140 per year for professional staff to screen, train, match and support one BIG (a caring adult) to one LITTLE (the children).
