Dec 01, 2014 10:53AM ● By Brenna Mc Gowan
Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Dorado County, bbbs-edc.org, has announced the 2014 SnowBall Event will take place on Saturday, December 6.  With the help of generous sponsors, 150 children from El Dorado County will be shopping at Target in El Dorado Hills for appropriate winter clothing

The kids will also have the opportunity to meet Santa and enjoy a full Pancake Breakfast at the Blue Shield Campus provided by the Rotary Club of El Dorado Hills!

There are hundreds of children in El Dorado County who need warm clothing for the cold winter months ahead and whose families are not financially able to provide for some of the most basic essentials.

There will be 150 children, ‘Littles” and their siblings, who are supported by Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Dorado County, along with 150 shopping helpers, 20 volunteers on “Chaos Control,” and the generous sponsors from Waste Connections, Freight Solution Providers, El Dorado Hills Fire Department and US Bank.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Dorado County helps children with the support of generous sponsors, donors and mentors.  Go to bbbs-edc.org, to contribute or learn how to become a mentor to the nearly 50 kids still looking for a “Big,” in their life.
