Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

Academically, as I was growing up, my aptitude was highest in math and sciences. In my search for a rewarding and satisfying profession, I looked to health sciences. Being raised as a caring and compassionate person in Honolulu, Hawaii, I also sought a profession that would provide me with skills to interact with people to improve their health. Dentistry has given me a satisfying profession—one that allows me to feel involved with my community and help people with their dental health needs. Dentistry and I found each other.

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I do my best to give financial support to local schools or charities that our patients are involved with. Our office makes donations to school fund-raisers and advertises in their publications. I also belong to the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce and attend many events that support local charities.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

My wife of 26 years and I have raised three amazing children, now adults. They all have diverse interests and talents, and are wonderful, caring human beings. We are proud of the close relationships we have with each of them, and those they have with each other.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

Aji Japanese Bistro has a diverse Asian fusion menu with too many delicious choices to mention. The fish is fresh and scrumptious, and the service reflects outstanding customer care. We feel fortunate to have Aji as a unique restaurant experience in our area—a place where we can feel the “aloha spirit.”

And finally, customer service is…?

Of the utmost importance! We strive to offer and provide personalized, ethical dental care that exceeds patient expectations in a clean, safe and caring environment. We bring the “Aloha Spirit” to your smile.
