Describe your business.

What life accomplishments are you most proud of?

Being a mom of two boys, ages eight and 10, a wife, and getting to fulfill my dream of becoming an esthetician.

What’s your biggest job perk?

Coming into a salon every day that I’m lucky enough to work in—a place where everyone always has a smile on their faces and loves their job as much as I do. I get to create a relaxing, tranquil place for my clients so they can truly unwind and let me pamper them. Seeing people refreshed and rejuvenated at the end is the most rewarding feeling.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

My family and I love eating at The Sandwich Spot. They make the most amazing sandwiches and have the best customer service; they really make you feel like family when you walk through the door.

What’s your favorite local business other than your own?

Top It Off Frozen Yogurt. We go there quite often, maybe too often! Our boys love getting to run around outside in the grassy area while we sit in the sun and relax. When my girlfriends want to catch up, it’s our go-to spot.

And finally, customer service is…?

Going back to the basics—a smile and saying “hi” to each person; exceeding their expectations by showing that you’re really listening to what they’re saying; being very attentive; and doing what they’re asking with a smile, not just because you have to but because you want to.
