Describe your business. Did you find it, or did it find you?

The business found me. I started going to The Dailey Method in San Francisco as a way to cross-train and help tone and lengthen my muscles. I was instantly hooked! When I was asked to become an instructor, I couldn’t resist. I love to teach and see how this workout changes people’s bodies. When my husband and I decided to relocate to Northern California, we knew we had to bring The Dailey Method with us!

How are you involved with both the community and your customer?

I try and participate in any community event I can. Our very first Dailey Method team event was Run Rocklin! I also became involved in the Folsom Trail Runners Series and have enjoyed meeting active individuals in a great new town. I continue to participate in Chamber of Commerce activities and as many fundraiser events that time allows. In addition, I’ve teamed up with Fleet Feet Sports (Roseville/Fair Oaks) to promote how beneficial stretching and improving one’s “core” can be while training for a race!

Where do you go when the going gets tough?

To the beautiful mountains of Lake Tahoe. I enjoy running on the trails and it’s a great way to get away and have some much-needed time alone or with my husband and son.

What’s your favorite place to eat out locally?

The Chef’s Table in Rocklin.

And finally, customer service is…?

A must! I have learned how important customer service is especially now that I own The Dailey Method. Every day, I want to make sure I know every person who comes to class and that they are satisfied with the class and environment. Much of a business’s success is based upon “word of mouth,” and customer service plays a huge role in this! I have always believed “attitude is everything” and I continue to live by this motto with my business, too!
